This makes American Airlines the largest airline in the world in terms of passengers carried, annual flights, and daily flights. The airline operates with the help of its regional subsidiaries under the American Eagle brand.
American Airlines has an extensive domestic and international network, with over 6,750 flights per day to nearly 350 destinations in almost 50 countries. It is also a founding member of the one world alliance, one of the three major airline alliances in the world, which expands its global reach. The airline is expected to operate over 4,800 flights on this route in 2025, with almost 700,000 total seats. Other popular routes from DFW connect Dallas to major American Airlines hubs, including Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), San Antonio International Airport (SAT), Miami International Airport (MIA), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).
