The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and JFK Millennium Partners (JMP) have announced the addition of three beloved New York brands to the new Terminal 6 (T6) at John F Kennedy International Airport. The US$4. 2bn terminal is set to open in 2026 and will feature P J Clarke’s, For Five Coffee Roasters, and Brooklyn Brewery, marking their first airport locations.
According to Port Authority executive director Rick Cotton, these iconic brands will enhance the passenger experience and contribute to the authentic New York atmosphere they are striving to create at JFK International Airport. He stated that there is no place like New York and these notable businesses will help T6 reflect the city’s unique energy, becoming an exciting part of travelers’ memories.
JFK Millennium Partners CEO Steve Thody also expressed his excitement about the addition of these beloved New York brands to T6’s other culinary selections. He believes that T6 is a celebration of all things New York City and these brands will offer a true taste of the city to travelers from around the world.
The three brands joining T6 are:
– J Clarke’s: Known for its saloon-style restaurant in New York, J Clarke’s is famous for its classic American fare, cocktails, and old-school aesthetic.
– For Five Coffee Roasters: This specialty coffee roaster offers a modern cafe atmosphere and is known for its high-quality coffee.
– Brooklyn Brewery: A global independent craft beer brewer, Brooklyn Brewery is a popular brand among beer enthusiasts.
Paul Loupakos, senior vice president of development and airport retention at SSP America, commented on the new additions, stating that each brand is deeply rooted in New York’s culture and hospitality. He believes that they are a natural fit for JFK’s global travelers and will offer authentic, locally inspired dining experiences that truly celebrate the city’s unique flavor.
Currently, JFK T6 is under construction and is being developed in two phases. The first six gates are scheduled to open in 2026, with the project expected to be completed by 2028.
