JetBlue Airlines Expands to Vero Beach Regional Airport with Daily Flights to Boston and New York

Vero Beach Regional Airport will soon have a new commercial carrier, as JetBlue Airways announced plans to begin service on December 11, 2025. This will make JetBlue the second commercial airline to operate at the airport, alongside Breeze Airways.

The New York-based airline will offer one daily, year-round flight to both Boston Logan International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. To celebrate the new route, introductory one-way fares will start at $69, with bookings available until August 17 for travel between December 11, 2025, and February 11, 2026. The flights will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, with blackout dates from December 18, 2025, to January 5, 2026.

According to Airport Director Todd Scher, JetBlue first expressed interest in the airport on August 11 and confirmed plans to begin operations on August 13. Scher stated that this news caught them off guard, and they now have to work out the logistics to ensure they can accommodate the airline with their limited capacity.

Along with the new route to Vero Beach, JetBlue will also be returning to Daytona Beach and adding new routes from Tampa to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and Fort Lauderdale to Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. This expansion is part of JetBlue’s goal to strengthen its presence in Florida, a popular leisure market.

Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships, stated that Florida continues to be a popular destination for the airline, and they are excited to bring more choices and better service to these markets.

Vero Beach Regional Airport has seen an increase in passenger traffic, with Breeze Airways reporting almost 83% of its previous year’s total passengers by mid-2025. With the addition of JetBlue, the airport is expected to see even more growth and become a regional travel hub.
