Experience the Best in Air Travel with Forbes Travel Guide’s Verified Air Travel Awards

Traveling can be a stressful experience, but it’s the little details that can make all the difference. That’s why Forbes Travel Guide’s Verified Air Travel Awards recognize the airlines and airports that provide a world-class passenger experience. From luxurious cabin suites to top-of-the-line lounges, these awards celebrate everything that contributes to an extraordinary journey.

The winners of the 2025 Verified Air Travel Awards were determined by an invitation-only survey of over 9,000 well-traveled individuals in the hospitality industry, including luxury travel advisors and Forbes Travel Guide’s incognito inspectors and training team. The results were then validated by the experts at Forbes Travel Guide, known for their 67-year-old Star Ratings system that relies on expert evaluations for annual ratings of hotels, restaurants, spas, and ocean cruise ships.

Emirates was once again named the Best International Airline, while Delta Air Lines took the title of Best U. S. Airline for the second year in a row. Air New Zealand also received recognition as the Innovation of the Year for their new Skycouch seats.

One of the standout features of Emirates is their continuous effort to refine every aspect of the passenger experience. From a luxurious lounge for first-class and Skywards Platinum members to being the first autism-certified airline, Emirates goes above and beyond to cater to their passengers’ needs. With a cabin of just 30 spacious, reclining seats, JSX also offers the convenience of checking in as late as 20 minutes before a domestic flight.

Singapore Changi Airport was once again recognized as the Best International Airport, thanks to its exceptional amenities like the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, a 24-hour movie theater, and a rooftop pool and Jacuzzi where travelers can watch planes take off. LaGuardia Airport, which recently underwent an $8 billion renovation, was named the Best U. S. Airport for its modern architecture and delicious dining options.

In terms of cabin experience, Emirates’ first-class suites on the Boeing 777-300ER were named the Best International First Class. These luxurious suites offer floor-to-ceiling doors, zero-gravity seats, and a range of culinary options, making for a truly lavish experience. Delta Air Lines’ A321neo first-class cabin was named the Best U. S. First Class, featuring 20 memory-foam-padded recliners in a two-two configuration.
