Cathay Pacific Unveils Newly Redesigned Bridge Lounge at HKIA with Updated Features and Future Biometric Check-In Technology

HONG KONG – The Bridge, one of Cathay Pacific’s signature lounges at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), has recently reopened after undergoing a comprehensive redesign. As the first lounge to relaunch under the airline’s new enhancement plan, The Bridge reflects Cathay Pacific’s commitment to improving the overall travel experience for its customers.

The reopening of The Bridge marks the first phase of Cathay Pacific’s lounge network renovation strategy. The next stage will involve the temporary closure of The Wing, First on May 23, with plans to reopen in 2026. The Wing, Business will also undergo renovation at a later date. During this period, The Deck will serve as the interim First class lounge starting on May 21. Eligible passengers will also have access to The Pier, First and The Pier, Business.

This renovation of The Bridge is part of Cathay Pacific’s HK$100 billion investment into new aircraft, lounges, cabin products, and digital services. In the next two years, new flagship lounges are expected to open in Hong Kong, Beijing, and New York.
