Passenger Kicked Off American Airlines Flight After Altercation with Flight Attendant

The passenger was also called out for not turning off her phone, which was against the rules. The video then cuts out when the passenger agrees to comply, but resumes to show her claiming that she was being harassed by the flight attendant. She was eventually escorted off the plane, according to the footage and her seatmate who captured the incident on video.

Witness Account

Jay Crenshaw, the passenger’s seatmate, saw the entire ordeal unfold. He stated that the passenger was having a bad morning and was irritated about something she was talking about on the phone. He also mentioned that she had lost her phone and had to borrow one, possibly adding to her frustration. However, he also stated that he was not excusing her behavior and hoped that people would give her some grace.

Family Attempts to Lie to Flight Attendant

In a separate incident, a man revealed on Reddit how a family attempted to lie to a flight attendant in order to switch seats with him and take his business class seat. The man had booked a business class seat, specifically for the extra room and to keep the middle seat vacant. However, the family, who had economy seats, asked him to switch with them so that they could sit together. When he refused their offer, they made a counteroffer, falsely claiming that he was their family member and that he would agree to switch seats. The man refused to move and informed the flight attendants of the truth, resulting in the family being sent back to their assigned seats.
