Global Air Travel Disrupted Due to War in Iran
The ongoing war in Iran has led to severe disruptions in global air travel. Major Middle Eastern hubs, including Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi, have been forced to close, leaving tens of thousands of passengers stranded and disrupting thousands of flights. As the situation evolves, airlines around the world are adjusting their flight schedules to accommodate the changing circumstances.
Aegean Airlines has suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv, Beirut, Erbil, and Baghdad until March 10. Flights to and from Dubai and Abu Dhabi have been cancelled until March 6, and flights to and from Riyadh and Jeddah have been cancelled until March 7.
Latvia’s airBaltic has cancelled all flights to and from Tel Aviv until March 9, and all flights to and from Dubai until March 6.
Air Canada has suspended all flights to and from Dubai and Tel Aviv until March 22, with plans to resume operations on March 23.
Air Europa has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until March 9.
Air France and KLM have both cancelled flights to and from Tel Aviv, Beirut, Dubai, and Riyadh until March 5. KLM’s flights to and from Tel Aviv will remain suspended for the remainder of its winter season.
Air India has extended the temporary suspension of all its flights to and from the Middle East until March 3.
Greek airline Bluebird Airways has cancelled all flights to and from Israel until March 8.

Cathay Pacific Airways has cancelled all flights to and from Dubai until March 14, and flights to and from Riyadh until March 14.
Delta has cancelled flights from New York-JFK to Tel Aviv until March 8, and from Tel Aviv to JFK until March 9.
EL AL Israel Airlines and Sundor flights to and from Israel have been cancelled until 2:00 AM on March 5.
Emirates has suspended all flights until further notice, with a limited number of flights set to resume on the evening of March 2.
Etihad Airways has suspended all flights to and from its Abu Dhabi hub until 1000 GMT on March 4.
Finnair has cancelled flights to Doha until March 10, and flights to Dubai until March 28. The airline is also avoiding the airspace of Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Israel.
