The stock market showed some volatility on Wednesday, as the S&P 500 fluctuated between gains and losses following a strong start to the week. Many large-cap and growth stocks saw slight increases, with Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices leading the way with gains of 3.3% and 5.2%, respectively. In addition, several US technology companies announced deals related to artificial intelligence in the Middle East on Tuesday, coinciding with Trump’s visit and his securing of $600 billion in commitments from Saudi Arabia. Boeing also saw a 1.7% increase in stock price after Qatar Airways signed a deal to purchase jets from the company during Trump’s visit to Doha.

As of 11:39 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 35.55 points, or 0.09%, at 42,175.98, while the S&P 500 had gained 12.06 points, or 0.20%, at 5,898.61.
