Qantas to Launch Direct Flights from Adelaide to Auckland for Easy Access to New Zealand and New York

The beautiful wineries of South Australia and the breathtaking ski slopes of New Zealand will soon be more accessible than ever for travelers from Australia and New Zealand. Qantas has announced the launch of direct flights from Adelaide to Auckland, with the inaugural flight set to take off on October 31st. The airline will offer a special launch fare of $699 return in economy.

The new route, QF175, will operate four times a week on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft and have a flight time of approximately four hours and 15 minutes. This also presents a new opportunity for travelers to reach New York City, with a connecting flight on QF3 from Auckland to the bustling metropolis.

The resumption of international services from Adelaide Airport comes after Qantas ended its QF81 route to Singapore in 2013. The South Australian Premier, Peter Malinauskas, expressed excitement for the new route, stating that it will bring Australians and New Zealanders “even closer” together. He also highlighted the connection to New York City and the strengthening of the relationship between the two countries.
