Breeze Airways Expands to Portsmouth with New Flight Option

The Portsmouth International Airport at Pease in New Hampshire will soon offer travelers a new flight option with the addition of Breeze Airways’ new service to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. The service, which will commence on December 11, will operate flights on Thursdays and Sundays, with tickets already available for purchase.

Breeze Airways, founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, has been rapidly expanding its services in various locations, including Portland, and is now adding Portsmouth to its list of destinations. Currently, the airline offers flights to Orlando and Fort Myers, Florida from Portsmouth, with Allegiant Airlines also providing commercial service to the airport.

While Breeze is the fastest-growing airline at the Portland International Jetport, it does not operate the most overall number of flights from the Jetport. American Airlines, Delta, and Southwest Airlines still hold the highest passenger volume to Portland. However, Breeze offers the most non-stop destinations from Portland, including Charleston, South Carolina, Norfolk, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and various cities in Florida and New York.

Breeze Airways utilizes a flagship fleet of Airbus A220 aircraft and has estimated that there are hundreds of additional routes in the U. S. alone that could benefit from its unique service. In fact, the airline operates over 200 year-round and seasonal routes to 68 cities in 31 states.

With its expansion to Portsmouth, Breeze Airways is set to provide more travel options and convenience for travelers in the New Hampshire area. As the airline continues to grow, it seeks to offer innovative and efficient services to its customers, making travel more accessible and enjoyable.
