LOT Polish Airlines Sets New Record for Passengers and Flights in July 2025

In July 2025, LOT Polish Airlines, a renowned European carrier with a 96-year history, accomplished its best month to date by transporting 1,185,946 passengers on 11,072 flights. This achievement was accompanied by record-breaking numbers of 25,623 flight hours and 15. 5 million kilometres covered by the airline’s aircraft.

The popularity of European destinations such as Vilnius, London, and Amsterdam contributed significantly to the impressive numbers, while long-haul demand was led by routes to Toronto, New York (JFK), and Chicago. This success can be attributed to LOT’s expansion of its network, with new routes launched this year from Warsaw to Thessaloniki, Malta, Reykjavik, Lisbon, and from Kraków to Paris Orly. Upcoming additions to the network include flights to Marrakesh and Rovaniemi.

CEO Micha? Fijo? believes that the trust of passengers and the dedication of staff have been crucial in achieving this milestone. He also points out that almost 60% of LOT’s passengers are transfers via Warsaw Chopin Airport. In order to maintain this growth, the airline is expanding its fleet with the delivery of the first of 13 Boeing 737 MAX 8s and previously ordered Airbus A220s later this year. This is part of their 2024-2028 strategy.

This success is a testament to the airline’s commitment to providing exceptional service and expanding its offerings to meet the evolving needs of travelers. LOT Polish Airlines continues to prioritize the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of its passengers, evident in its continued investment in new aircraft and expansion of routes. This record-breaking month is a reflection of the airline’s dedication to excellence and its vision for future growth.
