A new airport lounge has opened at Harry Reid International Airport, making it the sixth branded lounge at the airport. The two-story, 4,590-square-foot Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club is operated by JPMorgan Chase & Co. -affiliated Chase Bank and Chase Travel. This is the first airport lounge available at the Southwest Airlines-dominated C gates.
Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business primary cardmembers, J. P. Morgan Reserve, and The Ritz-Carlton Credit Card primary cardmembers and authorized users have access to the lounge. Sapphire Reserve and J. P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers can bring up to two guests for free and additional guests for a fee of $27.
The lounge features a unique champagne parlor, where travelers can enjoy a selection of sparkling options served by bar cart. This includes glasses of champagne, mimosas, and seasonal spritz cocktails. The lounge also offers a variety of food options, including dishes curated by restaurant group Momofuku, known for its famous pork bun. Guests can also enjoy locally roasted coffee from Nevada-based Dark Moon Coffee Roasters, a curated wine list from Parcelle, and signature and locally inspired cocktails.
In a statement, Dana Pouwels, head of airport lounge benefits at Chase, said, “Las Vegas is renowned for its vibrant energy, world-class entertainment, and diverse culinary scene – qualities we’ve brought to life throughout the lounge. ” Pouwels also mentioned the lounge’s thoughtfully designed spaces for productivity, as well as its signature bar, which aims to give travelers a taste of the city’s luxury and excitement.
This is the sixth lounge at Reid International, with previous openings from credit card companies Capital One and American Express in the D gates earlier this year. The new Capital One Lounge and The Centurion Lounge by American Express joined existing lounges in the D gates, including The United Club and Club LAS. There is also a second Club LAS in the E gates at Terminal 3. In addition, there are also USO lounges at Terminals 1 and 3 at the airport.
The new lounge is part of the recent expansion and enhancement of the Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge network. Along with Las Vegas, new lounge locations are planned at Los Angeles International Airport and Dallas Fort-Worth International Airport. Currently, Chase lounges are open at airports in Boston, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, and New York’s LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy International.
