Alaska Airlines, the fifth largest airline in North America, has a strong presence in the United States with over 100 destinations across the country as well as in the Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Guatemala. Lounge Access

Passengers traveling in first class (over 2,100 miles) or holding the airline’s Mileage Plan status of MVP Gold 75K or MVP Gold 100K can enjoy complimentary lounge access. This benefit also extends to first class passengers on flights to and from Hawaii or international long-haul flights. Lounge access can also be purchased for $100 off by reaching the carrier’s 30K mileage milestone or being an eligible Alaska Airlines Visa Signature or Alaska Airlines Visa Business cardholder.

Alaska Lounge Membership

Alaska Airlines offers two types of lounge memberships: Alaska Lounge and Alaska Lounge+. The standard membership, Alaska Lounge, costs $595 and provides access to all nine lounge locations and The Plumeria Lounge at Honolulu Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. For $795, passengers can upgrade to Alaska Lounge+ which grants access to all Alaska lounges, The Plumeria Lounge, and 90 partner lounges. Lounge memberships can be renewed or joined at any lounge location or by contacting the airline’s customer care team. Please note that memberships are non-refundable once purchased.

Benefits of Lounge Membership

Members of the Alaska Lounge program have access to comfortable seating, complimentary food and drinks, including local draft beer, West Coast wines, and house spirits. A handcrafted espresso bar is also available, along with the airline’s famous pancakes for early morning travelers. Guests can also enjoy access to business facilities, including workstations and printers.

Alaska Lounge Locations

Alaska Airlines has lounges in various locations, including Anchorage, Seattle/Tacoma International Airport (SEA), San Francisco International Airport (SFO), and Portland International Airport (PDX). The newly expanded lounge in Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC) in Anchorage can accommodate up to 140 guests and offers high-speed WiFi, free snacks, and a fully stocked bar. The flagship lounge in Seattle/Tacoma International Airport’s (SEA) north satellite has dedicated seating areas, a beautiful fireplace, and a variety of food and drink options. The newest lounge in Harvey Milk Terminal 1 at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has a spacious 11,000 square feet of space and offers handcrafted espressos, complimentary food and beverages, and TalkBox booths for private calls.
