The data reveals that out of the 35 routes from Dallas that are over 5,000 miles long, 22 are international destinations and 11 airlines are represented. Flag carriers, such as Qantas and Qatar Airways, make up the majority of these routes, with the exception of Taiwanese carrier EVA Air. The most frequently flown route on the list is Qatar Airways’ 777-300ER service to Doha, with nearly 190,000 seats.

The top ten longest flights departing from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport are dominated by Qantas, with three routes to Australia. These routes will be flown 715 times in 2025, offering almost 200,000 seats and 1. 7 billion available seat miles. The longest route on the list is Dallas to Melbourne, with a nonstop distance of 8,973 miles. American Airlines, which operates 82% of the airport’s traffic, also represents 23 of the long-haul routes.
