Capital One is set to open a new lounge at New York’s JFK airport on June 19th. The impressive 13,500 square foot space, located in Terminal 4, will pay homage to the bustling city with various nods to New York culture.

Guests can expect to see a Central Park-inspired dining area, a Manhattan-style bar, and over 40 works of art by New York-based artists, including a stunning hanging glass sculpture by Brooklyn-based Shakuff Custom Lighting. The lounge also boasts large windows with sweeping views of the tarmac.
Travelers can indulge in locally sourced grab-and-go options, including a bodega-style espresso bar featuring bagels from Ess-a-Bagel and coffee from Bean & Bean Coffee Roasters. Other options include sandwiches, wraps, salads, pastries, and small plates. For a true taste of the city that never sleeps, Capital One offers its Daily Rituals, featuring a “Midnight Snack” ritual at 12:30am to satisfy any late-night cravings.
In partnership with renowned Murray’s Cheese, the lounge will offer a unique cheesemonger experience exclusive to JFK. Guests can enjoy curated cheese and charcuterie boards, with daily tasting experiences available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The full-service bar, created in collaboration with top mixologists in the city, will feature craft cocktails inspired by local flavors. Non-alcoholic options are also available, as well as a selection of New York beers and wines, including the lounge-exclusive “Perfect Airport Beer” Skyscraper IPA and offerings from TALEA Beer Co. For those looking for a more exclusive experience, the lounge also offers their Rare Bottle Club, featuring rare and hard-to-find liquors.
The lounge also includes two private rooms, a parent’s room for caregivers, and a luxury shower suite complete with Dyson hair dryers and other hotel-like amenities. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the lounge, as well as filtered water for refilling water bottles. Primary cardholders of Venture X and Venture X Business from Capital One can enjoy unlimited access to the lounge. Non-cardholders can also access the lounge for $90 per person with a valid boarding pass for a same-day flight.
