A flight attendant from British Airways was found dancing naked in the bathroom of the business class during a trans-Atlantic flight, after allegedly consuming drugs.

The AWOL staff member was discovered missing from his meal service duties on a flight bound for London Heathrow over the weekend, prompting a search by the managerial staff. After searching the plane, the cabin crew found their colleague dancing alone in the toilet, dressed only in pyjamas usually offered to first-class passengers.

According to reports, the crew proceeded to dress the flight attendant in first-class pyjamas and strapped him into a first-class seat for the remaining 11-hour flight. Upon landing, police were contacted by the cabin crew regarding the welfare of a 41-year-old man on board. He was taken to the hospital and later arrested on suspicion of being unfit for duty. The man has since been released and is under investigation.

When asked for comment, a British Airways spokesperson stated that the situation is a matter for the police. While incidents involving unruly flight staff are rare, there have been other incidents involving misbehaving passengers or animals on flights.

Last week, a Delta Air Lines flight was delayed after two pigeons were found inside the cabin, causing a brief panic among passengers. The pilot confirmed the presence of the pigeons and called for baggage handlers to remove them from the plane. A witness on board shared the incident on Instagram, stating that the passengers applauded when the pigeons were safely removed.

In another incident last month, an American Airlines flight was forced to turn back to New York after a passenger threw a fit over his meal. The passenger became increasingly angry when he did not receive the meal he had requested in his booking and also attempted to sit in an exit row despite traveling with a child. Upon landing, police removed the passenger and his family from the plane.

The pilot apologized to the crew, stating that such behavior is rare on international flights. The passengers were given meal vouchers for the inconvenience, and the man was not charged.
