Aruba Airport has released its traffic performance report for the year-to-date (YTD) September 2025, showcasing positive growth in passenger volumes, airline performance, and market trends.
Passenger Traffic and Operations
From January to September 2025, Aruba Airport saw a 4% increase in revenue-generating passengers (RGP), reaching a total of 1,252,336. This was supported by a 1% increase in seat capacity, totaling 1,511,559, and a 1. 1-point increase in load factor, reaching 87. 3%. The airport also recorded 10,746 flight departures, representing a 3% increase from the same period in 2024.
Market Share by Region
The United States remains the top source market for Aruba Airport, accounting for 70% of RGP, followed by Latin America & the Caribbean at 17%, Canada at 4%, Dutch Caribbean at 4%, and Europe at 4%.
Airline and Gateway Performance
JetBlue (B6) and American Airlines held the largest market share for RGP in September 2025, each with 18%, followed by United and Delta at 10% each, and Avianca at 9%. In terms of gateway seat capacity, the New York area (JFK, EWR, LGA) held the top spot at 23%, followed by Bogotá at 10%, Amsterdam at 9%, Miami at 9%, and Boston at 7%. This highlights the airport’s diverse network across North America, Latin America, and Europe.
Outlook
As the 2025/2026 winter season begins, Aruba Airport is expecting a steady flight schedule with new additions to its network. LATAM Airlines will launch a new seasonal service to Bogotá, operating three times weekly and enhancing connectivity within Latin America. Additionally, Aerolíneas Argentinas will join the airport’s portfolio, introducing three new connections from Buenos Aires (EZE) with onward links via Córdoba (COR) and Mendoza (MDZ), further strengthening access from South America.
