Madison, Wisconsin’s Dane County Regional Airport is expanding its options for travelers heading to New York City. Starting September 3rd, American Airlines will offer a new nonstop flight from Madison to New York’s LaGuardia Airport, in addition to the already existing nonstop flights from Delta Airlines.
This new flight will provide passengers with more flexibility and convenience when planning their trips to the Big Apple. With three daily nonstop flights now available, travelers can choose from a variety of departure and arrival times to fit their schedules.
Dane County Executive Melissa Agard expressed her enthusiasm for the new flight, stating that the airport is proud to offer connections from Madison to major cities. She also mentioned the benefits of having more nonstop flights, such as making it easier for companies to recruit talent and attract investments. Additionally, supporting local flights helps to boost the local economy.
This recent announcement follows the news in April that Dane County Regional Airport would be bringing back nonstop seasonal flights to Los Angeles through Breeze Airlines. These flights will run from May 21st to August 30th, providing even more travel options for passengers.
