Air France has recently introduced its most luxurious seat, “La Première,” on flights between Paris and the Bay Area. This exclusive fare includes access to a private space within an Air France lounge, a personalized escort onto the aircraft, and an enclosed suite on board. The service was launched on August 14th and is currently available on select flights between Charles de Gaulle Airport and San Francisco.
The airline has designated a Boeing 777-300ER with La Première suites for its first daily service between the two cities. The second daily service uses an Airbus A350-900 without the suites.
Air France has stated that La Première passengers are greeted by airline staff upon their arrival at the airport and directed to a dedicated check-in area. From there, they are taken to a private area within the Air France lounge. When it’s time to board, these guests are personally escorted to the aircraft.
The La Première suites are equipped with an armchair and chaise lounge that can be transformed into a fully lie-flat 6. 5-foot-long bed. The suites also feature a wardrobe, a sliding drawer that can hold up to two carry-on bags, a shoe drawer, power outlets, wireless charging stations, comfortware, an amenity kit, and two 32-inch 4K screens. For passengers traveling together, the central suites have a divider that can be adjusted to create a shared space or separate compartments.
La Première is now available on flights to and from seven U. S. cities, including San Francisco, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, and Washington Dulles.
This premium service offers a luxurious and comfortable travel experience for those flying between Paris and the Bay Area. With exclusive access to a private lounge, personalized assistance, and top-of-the-line amenities on board, passengers can relax and enjoy their journey with Air France’s La Première fare.
