New Semi-Private Airline Launches Summer Service to Nantucket from West Palm Beach
On April 26, 2025, semi-private air operator Slate Aviation announced the launch of their new summer service between West Palm Beach and Nantucket. This exciting new offering includes spacious business-class seats, catering from Michelin-starred restaurants, and the convenience of skipping TSA lines.
The flights will run through September 30 and can be booked by the seat, starting at just $695. This makes private air travel more accessible to a wider range of travelers, as opposed to the traditional option of chartering a full aircraft.
Partnering with XO, a private air travel company, Slate Aviation will offer shared private shuttle service to Nantucket from Palm Beach International Airport and Fort Lauderdale International Airport. This is in addition to their existing shuttle operations between South Florida and New York, including Westchester County Airport and other member-only terminals.
One of the major perks of flying with Slate Aviation is the luxurious experience. The flights feature just 18 oversized business-class seats, complimentary Wi-Fi, catering from a renowned local restaurant, Buccan, and a basket of snacks that puts commercial airlines to shame. And with no TSA lines or boarding hassle, passengers can simply walk from the private terminal lounge to the plane, where they will receive a safety briefing from the captain and be served by two friendly flight attendants.
Another benefit of semi-private air travel is the potential for early departure, as long as all
