Singapore Airlines, one of the world’s leading airlines, has announced their operating routes for April 2026. With a fleet of 144 aircraft, including the Airbus A350-900, A380-800, Boeing 777-300ER, 787-10, and 737-8 Max, the airline serves over 80 destinations across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas from their hub at Singapore Changi Airport.
However, due to the ongoing US-Iran conflict, the airline’s operations in the Middle East have been significantly disrupted. Flights to Dubai have been suspended until at least June 1, 2026, and the launch of their planned route to Riyadh has been pushed back to September 2026.
Although a two-week US-Iran ceasefire came into effect on April 8, easing some regional airspace restrictions, Singapore Airlines has not yet announced any resumption of their Gulf routes. Instead, the airline has increased frequencies on key Asian and European routes and deployed A380s to up to eight destinations to capture demand displaced from Middle East hubs.
Here is a breakdown of Singapore Airlines’ current flight status, active routes, schedule changes, and when suspended services may resume.
Current Operating Routes (April 2026)
Despite the disruptions in the Middle East, Singapore Airlines continues to operate a broad global network from Changi Airport. They currently serve over 80 destinations in 35 countries, with key destinations in Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Europe, Australia & New Zealand, and America. A real-time departure and arrival information for any Singapore Airlines flight can be found using the Wego flight tracker.

The suspension was initially set until April 16, but further extensions are likely. – Singapore-Riyadh (SQ498/SQ499) – the planned launch of this route has been pushed back from June 2 to September 1.
Passengers affected by these suspensions can refer to Singapore Airlines’ rebooking and refund options.
Impact of the US-Iran Ceasefire
The two-week ceasefire between the United States, Israel, and Iran, which began on April 8, has led to some regional airspace reopenings. However, the impact on Singapore Airlines has been cautious, with the airline waiting for a sustained improvement in regional security conditions before resuming their Gulf routes.
Since the ceasefire, some regional airspace, including Iraq’s airspace and Baghdad International Airport, has reopened, restoring part of a key
