This private airport is conveniently located 13 miles from New York City. The check-in process includes a brief security check and allows passengers to check a 50-pound suitcase and a duffle bag. It is recommended to bring a small personal item on board for essentials. However, crates are not allowed in the cabin.

Bark Air offers a semi-private flying experience, with expedited in-lounge security checks and a boarding process that begins only 45 minutes before departure. The airline operates public charter flights on Canadair CL-600 Challenger, Bombardier Global 6000, and Gulfstream Aerospace G-IV aircrafts. Each flight is limited to a specific number of passengers and dogs, depending on the size of the dogs.

The cabin is equipped with amenities to ensure a comfortable and stress-free flight for dogs, including calming aids, pheromones, and ambient lighting. Humans are also treated to a full bar and a menu that includes hot and cold dishes. However, the main focus is on the dogs, with a variety of treats and “Doggie Chompagne” served during the flight.
