Gulf Air has recently announced its expansion in North America with the addition of direct flights to New York (JFK), set to begin on October 1, 2025. This new service will provide a vital link to a key global commercial and cultural hub. The airline will operate three weekly flights to JFK using state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Initially, Gulf Air will operate from the current Terminal One at JFK, with plans to transition to the new Terminal One in June 2026. This move will offer passengers a seamless and modern travel experience, in line with the airline’s premium service standards.

The Group Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Air, Jeffrey Goh, expressed his excitement about the launch of these direct flights and the airline’s return to the North American market. He stated that this service aligns with Gulf Air’s strategy of measured expansion and its commitment to serving strategic markets. By providing passengers with greater choice and convenience for travel between Bahrain and North America, and beyond, Gulf Air is supporting the connectivity strategy of the Kingdom.

Passengers can easily book their flights to and from New York and stay updated on flight timings by using the Gulf Air mobile application, visiting the airline’s website, gulfair. com, or through their trusted travel agents. With this new route, Gulf Air is further enhancing its global network and providing travelers with more options to reach their desired destinations.
