Limited Flight Schedule Released by Etihad Airways Amid Ongoing Conflict in the Middle East

Etihad Airways has announced a limited flight schedule for March 11 and 12, connecting passengers from Abu Dhabi to key destinations. This comes in the midst of ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Passengers with existing bookings will be accommodated on the available flights as soon as possible. However, the airline has advised all other travelers not to go to the airport unless they have a confirmed booking or have been contacted directly by Etihad.

According to aviation analytics company Cirium, there have been 40,000 cancellations out of 72,000 scheduled flights in and out of the Middle East from February 28 to March 9. This is due to the recent attacks on airlines in the UAE and other Gulf countries by Iranian missiles and drones.

Fortunately, operations have partially resumed after a few days of suspension, allowing for the limited flight schedule to be released.
