BermudAir Launches Nonstop Flights from NJ and NY Airports to Bermuda
BermudAir, a leading airline in Bermuda, has recently announced the launch of nonstop flights from Newark Liberty International and LaGuardia airports to Bermuda. This marks the airline’s newest entry into the New Jersey and New York markets.
Twice-weekly flights will be available from the Port Authority’s network of airports, providing tri-state travelers with direct and convenient access to L. F. Wade International Airport in Bermuda, near the capital of Hamilton. All flights will be operated on Embraer E175 and E190 aircraft.
According to Port Authority Chairman Kevin O’Toole, the addition of BermudAir service at Newark Liberty and LaGuardia airports is a testament to their commitment to expanding travel options for the tri-state region. He also expressed excitement for the people of Bermuda to have the opportunity to explore what the New York and New Jersey area has to offer.
Rick Cotton, Executive Director of the Port Authority, also emphasized the importance of new airline service in enhancing the travel experience at their award-winning airports. He believes that the new BermudAir service will provide travelers with more flexibility and options, strengthening the region’s connectivity to international destinations.
Adam Scott, founder and CEO of BermudAir, stated that with their existing service from Westchester/White Plains, they will now offer nonstop flights from three of the most convenient New York City-area airports. He believes that this launch will provide leisure and business travelers alike with more flexibility and convenient access to Bermuda.
The flight schedules are as follows: from Newark Liberty, flights will depart at 11 a. m. every Thursday and Sunday, with planes arriving at 9:30 a. m. on the same days from Bermuda. From LaGuardia Airport, flights will depart at 11 a. m. every Wednesday and Saturday, with planes arriving at 9:35 a. m. from Bermuda.
To commemorate the launch, BermudAir Holidays is offering a 100% flight discount for vacation package bookings made from EWR and LGA between now and December 6, 2025, for travel between December 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026.
This new service from the Port Authority’s airports expands BermudAir’s presence on the East Coast to a total of eight U. S. airports and strengthens connectivity to Bermuda from Canada. Prior to this launch, BermudAir only served the New York-New Jersey region through Westchester Airport in White Plains.
