American Airlines has announced a series of new developments at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, including the building of a 37,000-square-foot Admirals Club lounge in Terminal C. This will be the largest Admirals Club in American’s network and will offer guests various seating options, premium amenities, and dedicated areas for work and relaxation. The lounge, located near Terminal C’s Skylink station, is expected to have a recently expanded food and beverage program.

Currently, there are five Admirals Club lounges at DFW, one in each Terminal (A, B, C, D, and E). Along with the new lounge, American is also working on a dedicated Flagship check-in space for eligible customers. The private check-in counters, individual assistance from employees, and easy access to security screening at the D30 checkpoint will help travelers reach their gates quickly and with less stress.

The new check-in area is set to open later this year. In addition to these developments, American Airlines will also be constructing a Provisions by Admirals Club space in the future Terminal F. These lounges are typically smaller with a “grab and go” design concept focused on fresh food and premium beverages. The first Provisions lounge was opened at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina in 2025, and the airline has recently announced plans for another at New York-JFK.

The Provisions lounge in Terminal F will be the first of many premium offerings in the new terminal, which is expected to open to the public in 2027. More details will be released as plans develop, according to the carrier. These new projects at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport demonstrate American Airlines’ commitment to providing top-notch services and amenities for their customers.
