Allegiant Airlines has announced plans to strengthen its connections between Flint, Michigan and various destinations in Florida. The airline will be adding year-round service from Flint to Orlando International Airport and Southwest Florida International Airport, which serves the Fort Myers area.

Starting February 10, 2027, flights to Orlando will operate on a regular schedule, followed by flights to Fort Myers the next day. The frequency of these new routes has not yet been disclosed by the airline.

In addition to the new routes, Allegiant will also be increasing its service from Flint to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport, which serves the Tampa Bay area. Starting February 10, 2027, flights to Sarasota will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flights to St. Pete-Clearwater will begin the next day, with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

According to Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, these new routes and expanded service are a response to increased demand from customers. Wells stated in a press release that the airline is pleased to provide even more convenient access for travelers between Michigan and Florida, and that these flights will offer greater flexibility and value for those planning their trips.

Currently, Allegiant also offers flights from Flint to Jacksonville, Orlando Sanford, Punta Gorda, and Destin/Fort Walton Beach in Florida. The airline also operates flights from Flint to Nashville, Tennessee, Mesa Gateway Airport in Arizona, and Las Vegas.

With these new routes and increased service, Allegiant is making it easier for travelers to enjoy popular destinations in Florida from Flint, Michigan. Customers can look forward to more convenient and flexible options for their travel plans starting February 10, 2027.
