Volaris, a Mexican airline, is expanding its route network by adding two new destinations in the United States. According to Ryan Isemeyer, the carrier’s head of capacity and network planning, Volaris will now offer nonstop flights from Guadalajara to Atlanta and Washington Dulles. These cities were previously not served by the airline.

The new flights are set to begin in December, although specific launch dates have not been announced yet. Isemeyer stated on LinkedIn that the main goal of this expansion is to connect people and make air travel more affordable through low fares.

In addition to the new U. S. routes, Volaris will also introduce new flights between Las Vegas and Querétaro, as well as Chicago O’Hare and Puebla. These cities are already served by the airline from other airports in Mexico.

Furthermore, Volaris will also offer flights from Guadalajara to Guatemala City and Medellín, Colombia starting in December. Currently, the airline operates 23 routes to different destinations in the United States.
