Southwest Airlines has recently announced a range of new flights and temporary routes for the upcoming autumn season. These additions include flights to college and professional football games.
The airline released its complete schedule for the college football season, which is set to kick off later this month. Temporary connections and extra flights will be offered on the days leading up to and following the games.

While Southwest did not release a detailed schedule for the NFL season, the airline did mention that they will be operating flights for around 19 matchups. These include city pairs that are not typically on their schedule, such as Minneapolis/St. Paul and New Orleans, Kansas City and Seattle, Miami and Boston, Cleveland and New Orleans, and Milwaukee and Boston.
