Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Adopt All-Numbers System for Terminals
In March 2027, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) will undergo a major change in how it identifies its terminals. Currently, the airport has a Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, with the remaining terminals being identified as “2” followed by a letter (e. g. 2A, 2B, 2C). However, the airport has announced that it will be switching to an all-numbers system, with terminals numbered in ascending order from Terminal 1 to Terminal 7. This change will also apply to the terminal parking garages, which will be identified by the corresponding terminal number. The airport will begin changing signage in September 2026, with the new system officially implemented in March 2027. CDG hopes that this change will make navigation within the airport more intuitive for passengers, especially those on connecting flights.
