Four airports in Central New York have been granted funding for various upgrades and repairs. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand announced the funding on Friday.

– Griffiss International Airport – $580,000
– Cortland County/Chase Field Airport – $369,000
– Hamilton Municipal Airport – $190,000
– Oswego County Airport – $513,000

According to Schumer and Gillibrand, the funds will be used by Oswego County, Griffiss International, and Cortland County Airports to make necessary repairs and improvements to their existing infrastructure.

The Hamilton Municipal Airport, on the other hand, will be using its funding to construct a new terminal that will span 1,350 square feet. This new terminal will be able to accommodate passengers and baggage and will also complete its interior construction.

All of these funds have been allocated as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which has allocated over $40 million to various airports across the state of New York. This funding will greatly benefit these airports and improve their overall functionality and services.
