Etihad’s Service to the Busiest Airport in the World
Etihad’s Abu Dhabi to Atlanta route, which began operating on July 2, 2025, was the airline’s first service to the world’s busiest airport in terms of passengers. The route marked the return of service from the UAE to Atlanta after a nine-year absence, following Delta Air Lines’ discontinuation of flights to Dubai in 2016.
